How Min Aung Hlaing is stabbing China’s back and gaslighting US?

Min Aung Hlaing has hated China since childhood. When he came to power, he disliked China’s support for the Kokang and the Wa (UWSA). Even though he doesn’t love China, he had to reluctantly align with them when he lost militarily. The long-term goal within the military is to counter China. For this reason, they have primarily built military ties with Russia, and after the election, they plan to allow the Russian navy bases to be built in the southern region of Myanmar.

So, what will the United States do? Nyo Saw, who is Min Aung Hlaing’s henchman is someone with many foreign connections after his PSO (Personal Staff Officer), Min Aung Hlaing’s military has been involved in operations like the Pencilo’s operation  and Phyu Phyu operations, to discredit them by using intermediaries from the U.S. and Australia, as well as intelligence operatives stationed at the border—both from earlier times and more recently—who work in coordination. What many don’t know is that there are numerous individuals in the U.S. who are directly or indirectly close to Min Aung Hlaing’s military, with the highest number in the U.S. and the second highest in Australia. Some are relatives, some are relatives of retired military personnel, and others hire lawyers through cronies to request meetings or engage in lobbying. Some are just simply hate NLD and NUG more than the military and they used them as well. In the U.S., they also hire lobbyists who operate through the embassy.

Min Aung Hlaing has proposed, through the U.S. Navy and lobbyists, that US companies to invest in Myanmar’s rare earth minerals. At a European peace conference, which is not yet widely known, a deputy general from Min Aung Hlaing’s side met with lower-level U.S. officials and proposed that American companies invest in extracting Myanmar’s rare earth minerals. He also expressed Min Aung Hlaing’s desire to participate in Donald Trump’s efforts to combat opium and drug trafficking, claiming that groups like the Kokang, Wa, Mongla, Shan, and AA (Arakan Army) are producing and exporting drugs and methamphetamine to the U.S. He stated that these groups are supported and sponsored by China with Chinese weapons, making it difficult for his army  to suppress them, and presented evidence to Thailand, suggesting that the Thai government and the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) could verify this. The DEA has consistently been told that the AA exports drugs and methamphetamine, with production occurring in the Wa region, and that the Kokang and TNLA are also involved. Thailand has also been informed of this. Additionally, they tried to discredit the PDF (People’s Defense Force) as a terrorist group.

This issue is something that China and other armed groups along the border should take seriously.

Min Aung Hlaing knows that Donald Trump is unpredictable. When Trump was negotiating with Venezuelan President Maduro to release American citizens and to accept the deported Venezuelan refugees in the U.S., and Maduro was thinking that US js about to recognize him. However, the U.S. issued an arrest warrant for Maduro on drug trafficking charges with a $50 million bounty.

Therefore, if Min Aung Hlaing’s plan succeeds, these groups could be declared fugitives, and China could be metaphorically stabbed in the back. Otherwise, Min Aung Hlaing himself could end up like Maduro in Venezuela, becoming a fugitive. This could be more effective than the ICC (International Criminal Court).

The most important thing is unity. The responsibility for unity lies not only with the NUG (National Unity Government) but with everyone. If not, and people remain complacent while Min Aung Hlaing’s forces infiltrate their territories, let it be said in advance that they will be stabbed in the back.
